Beacham Promoted to EVP/CFO

SIKESTON, MO, October 1, 2019 – Farm Credit Southeast Missouri President & CEO Bob Smith is very pleased to announce that Michelle Beacham has been promoted to the position of EVP/Chief Financial Officer. 

Beacham began her employment with Farm Credit in November 2018 as SVP Finance working closely with CFO Vern Griffith in anticipation of his retirement which was effective September 30, 2019. 

Michelle obtained her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Southeast Missouri State University.  Following graduation she worked at a Poplar Bluff accounting firm for three years.  She then had 19 years’ experience in the Controller and CFO positions at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center and Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Michelle has a CPA license.

Smith stated, “Michelle has done an excellent job learning the CFO position, working with the board of directors, and building relationships with all employees as well as contacts at other Farm Credit System institutions.  Her prior work experience has been very applicable at Farm Credit.” 

Beacham resides in Malden with her husband, Barry.  They have three grown sons.
