Farm Credit Southeast Missouri is seeking a Portfolio Specialist at the Central Office.
Responsibilities: Serves in key support role to the Chief Credit Officer, and other corporate office and branch location teams, and has a primary responsibility for the support of, and assist in the development of the association Credit Specialist team. Will serve as coordinator of association Credit Specialist functional team and compiles, develops, and analyzes all types of credit portfolio information. Develops reports, monitors the portfolio, studies loan accounting issues which may need to be addressed. Subject to training and experience, analyzes projections, analyses, and credit recommendations. Will assist with analysis of larger and more complex loan packages. Monitors loan covenant compliance and branch office credit administration. Works with special financing programs, secondary markets, and capital markets. Will have active role with Mortgage Processing and Quality assurance programs.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Ag Economics, Ag Business, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance is preferred. Five years of experience in credit extension and administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication, problem solving, and analytical skills are necessary.
