Due to the planned retirement of our current CCO, Farm Credit SEMO is seeking an experienced leader to be our next CCO.
The Chief Credit Officer (CCO) sets the credit policy and leads the credit analysis and administration functions of the Association. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the CCO provides counsel to the CEO and executive leadership on credit policy and administration. This position will work alongside the current EVP/CCO who is retiring in January 2022 to learn the responsibilities of the position, as well as working with the Executive Leadership Team and the rest of the association team prior to taking on full responsibilities of the CCO position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (CCO):
Under the direction of the President, the Executive Vice President/Chief Credit Officer serves as the Association's Chief Credit Officer with overall management accountability for the loan portfolio. Provides overall direction to the formulation and implementation of credit policies, standards and practices which will guide and facilitate the delivery of sound, constructive, and profitable credit. Serves as chairman of the Association's Senior Loan Committee and directs high-risk and acquired property activities. Responsible for reporting to the board as specifically required by several credit policies.
Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Ten or more years of credit experience; Five years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
