Alan Hicks Promoted to SVP/Senior Relationship Officer; Blaine Cooper Appointed VP/Branch Manager

Progressive Farm Credit Services President & CEO Bob Smith is very pleased to announce that Alan Hicks has been promoted to Senior Vice President/Senior Relationship Officer. Hicks’ primary responsibility will be business development in the three Progressive Farm Credit branch offices of Poplar Bluff, Dexter, and Kennett.
Smith stated, “We are very pleased that Alan has accepted this new challenge and we know from past experience that he will be very successful”. Hicks recently celebrated his 30 year anniversary with Progressive Farm Credit Services in the fall of 2016.
Blaine Cooper was selected to fill the Vice President/Branch Manager open position at the Poplar Bluff branch office due to Hicks’ promotion effective May 1st.
Cooper began his agricultural lending career at the Progressive Farm Credit Dexter branch office in 1992, and later relocated to the Poplar Bluff branch office, initially as Loan Officer, and then Senior Loan Officer. In 2011, Cooper was promoted to his most recent position of Vice President/Branch Manager at the Dexter branch office. Cooper celebrated his 25th anniversary with Progressive Farm Credit Services in March of this year.
Hicks will continue to be available in Poplar Bluff to assist Cooper, Loan Officer Shannon Bradley, and the whole local team during the transition period, working with all customers to make the transition as seamless as possible.
