Mary Winkler set to Retire; Cindy Bertrand named Customer Service Representative

After 31 years of service with Farm Credit Southeast Missouri, Mary Winkler, Customer Service Representative at the Jackson Branch, is set to retire on May 31, 2018.

Winkler began her Farm Credit career at the Jackson Branch office in 1987 and has been a key member of the team significantly contributing to its success over the years.  

Winkler stated that she will greatly miss her customers and co-workers, but she is looking forward to retirement and spending more time traveling and with family. Winkler resides in Jackson with her husband, Jerry.

President & CEO Bob Smith is pleased to announce that Cindy Bertrand has been selected to fill the open position due to Winkler’s retirement.

Bertrand has a B.S. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Southeast Missouri State University and brings 20 years of work experience from area banks. Bertrand resides in Cape Girardeau with her husband, Tom, and they have two grown children.

Smith stated, “We appreciate Mary’s many years of service to the association and wish her well in retirement. While we will miss Mary, Cindy is very well-qualified and we are quite excited to have her on board.”
